Classes Scheduled on Tuesday and Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Thursday-a Day Reserved for Catching Up, Explore the City or to Relax. Thursday will also be a scheduled 'meal free' day. This will be your chance to go out to lunch and dinner with friends. Jim will see if I can get group rate dinner times, at some of the better restaurants for those who are interested. Husbands, Drivers, Partners are Welcome! REGISTRATION FEE WILL NOT START TO BE COLLECTED UNTILL JANUARY 2015. THE DATE WILL BE ANNOUNCED.
SPLIT COSTS-This year Jim will do "split costs" for folks who can only attend half of the retreat. The cost of the retreat fee is $200.00 (for husbands, drivers, and partners, a $25.00 meal fee must be added on for all 5 days.
a "closed school", so all class rooms are on the third floor. There is no elevator, you must be able to walk stairs to the third floor classrooms. Jim says, "Being cardio, I had
no problems with the stairs. Also the classrooms are not air conditioned, but
God's good wind does come through the large windows". There
are seven independent classrooms, complete with black boards. Attending members may also use the 'lockers' in the hallway. Teachers bring your own boom box for music in your classroom.
All meals, and clean up will be served and cleaned up by the hosting
site. At no time will retreat attendees be required to work in the kitchen
area. The new site cafeteria is air conditioned. It is so large that one portion
will serve for the dining area, and the section with the 'bar' will be reserved
for the new 'play area'. Yes if you are 21, wine and beer is allowed.
THURSDAY NITE IDEA BEING TOSSED AROUND- Jim says, "I think a Thursday 50's Night might be an idea, pizza , coke, and poodle skirts and music in the hall!"

You will meet other curious, sociable and open-minded people, in an atmosphere of exploration and enjoyment in working with natural eggs, as an art or folk art medium. The Pysanky USA Retreat is and has always been a private retreat. After all student reservations are made, it is closed to the general public. No visitors or walk throughs are admitted.
